Forensic Archaeology involves applying specialized archaeological methods to locate and recover evidence from crime scenes, frequently involving buried human remains. Instructors with substantial crime scene expertise, actively engaged in various operations and leading the field's professional advancement, teach this program. The curriculum aims to: Equip students with advanced practical, analytical, and interpretative skills in forensic archaeology, Offer specialized training for careers in Forensic Archaeology and Crime Scene Investigation (CSI), and Prepare graduates for diverse professions by emphasizing teamwork and applying broad knowledge to solve complex problems. This interdisciplinary program delivers a thorough forensic skillset. Forensic archaeologists must understand their role within broader police investigations and master crime scene management protocols. In the UK, Forensic Archaeology is an emerging field officially recognized by the Home Office Forensic Science Regulator. Qualification Requirements

2:2 or above in a relevant discipline, from either the humanities or sciences (e.g. archaeology, anthropology, forensic sciences, law, etc).

Other relevant qualifications and past experience will also be considered.

For North American students, normally a GPA of at least 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 is required, or an equivalent.
Minimum IELTS at 6.0 or the equivalent.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
This is administered by ETS (Educational Testing Service) in the USA. You will need to achieve an overall score of at least 80*, and sub-tests not less than 18 in Reading, 17 in Writing, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking if you require a Student Visa.
