The Earth Sciences PhD program offers opportunities to conduct research spanning diverse areas within the field. Our research clusters concentrate on key disciplines including hydrogeology, palaeobiology and palaeoenvironments, palaeoclimatology, and subsurface characteristics.
We welcome research proposals from prospective students across the spectrum of earth sciences. Our specialized teams focus on core research areas: hydrogeological studies, investigations of ancient life and environments, climate history research, and analysis of subsurface formations.
The Earth Sciences department maintains an active research environment and robust graduate education program, with faculty engaged in numerous innovative research initiatives.
