Our Forensic Psychology Practice Doctorate (ForenPsyD) awards the Doctorate in Forensic Psychology Practice qualification, granting eligibility for BPS Chartered Psychologist status and the ability to apply for HCPC registration as a Forensic Psychologist, along with full membership in the Division of Forensic Psychology. This program equips students with essential expertise to practice as forensic psychologists, evaluate criminal behavior and its impact on victims, develop treatment approaches for both offenders and victims, and serve as consultants providing expert reports and training. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based forensic methods while addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering competencies in clinical practice, research, and assessment. The three-year full-time program features placements coordinated by faculty, who consider trainees' prior experience, preferences, learning goals, and logistical factors like travel. We maintain strong partnerships with field professionals nationwide, offering diverse placement opportunities.
