The BA Textile Design program at Chelsea College of Arts encourages an innovative and exploratory approach to textile creation. Throughout this program, you'll master design techniques involving color, materials, and processes across various textile disciplines including print, knit, stitch, and weave. You'll cultivate creative concepts and broaden your theoretical perspective through projects examining bodily forms, interior/exterior environments, collaborative social design, and activist design approaches.

This program promotes sustainable design practices while exposing you to contemporary and forward-looking textile design frameworks. Through concept-driven assignments, you'll examine the evolving role of designers in present and future contexts, sparking your creative development.

The standard minimum entry requirements for this course are one or a combination of the following qualifications

Pass at Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Level 3 or 4
2 A Levels at grade C or above
Merit Pass Pass MPP at BTEC Extended Diploma
Pass at UAL Extended Diploma
Access to Higher Education Diploma
Or equivalent EUInternational qualifications such as International Baccalaureate Diploma at 24 points minimum
And 3 GCSE passes at grade 4 or above grade AC
ELTS level 6.0 or above with at least 5.5 in reading writing listening and speaking

TOEFL IBT - valid for 2 years - Score Required - 80 - Listening - 17, Reading - 18, Writing - 17, Speaking - 20.
TOEFL iBT Home Edition is NOT accepted.
