The BA (Hons) Fashion Culture and Business program focuses on communication and humanities, addressing the fashion industry's increasing emphasis on social responsibility. Fashion communication is transforming, with the sector now expected to cultivate professionals who actively champion diversity and inclusion (State of Fashion 2020). This program develops communication-savvy experts capable of connecting empathetically with diverse global audiences.
You'll explore both qualitative and quantitative research methods through an educational framework designed to analyze socio-economic and geographic factors influencing fashion. The curriculum encourages collaboration with local, national, and international communities to produce meaningful industry insights. Students will work alongside peers in UEL's Fashion department and across the School of Arts and Creative Industries.
