For more than six decades, the University of Aberdeen has cultivated exceptional Soil Science professionals, counting globally recognized researchers, distinguished consultants, and high-ranking government officials among its graduates. Students benefit from rigorous training in soil and environmental sciences, with significant emphasis on hands-on fieldwork and laboratory instruction. Our School boasts comprehensive expertise across all key soil science disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics, and pedology), ensuring instruction from field specialists. The MSc culminates in a supervised research project, either with our faculty or through our network of partner institutions.
