The fields of Ethnology, Folklore, and Ethnomusicology focus on examining culture within its natural setting.

Researchers in these disciplines employ ethnographic methods to explore how identities form, persist, evolve, and are shared. Our work examines the complex interplay of social, political, economic, and psychological factors that define human experience - ranging from daily storytelling to cultural rituals, from belief systems to creative expressions, and from culinary traditions to environmental relationships.

We study how local customs and heritage connect to modern questions of belonging and society, observing how these concepts manifest in daily routines and interactions.
