This research-focused program is offered at Teesside University's National Horizon Centre, located on its Darlington Campus. The National Horizons Centre (NHC) is a state-of-the-art £22 million facility dedicated to biological research, education, and professional development, designed to support the expanding bio-based sectors poised to revolutionize the UK's economy, including biologics, industrial biotechnology, and bio-pharmaceuticals.
Faculty members bring specialized knowledge across diverse fields such as medical, industrial, and environmental microbiology; molecular, cellular, and systems biology; genetic engineering techniques; protein biochemistry; structural biology; fermentation processes; bioengineering; and numerous other disciplines.
