The MRes in Biosciences provides advanced research training within our internationally renowned research groups, integrated with one or more of our Biosciences research themes. You'll gain access to our state-of-the-art facilities while pursuing a prestigious research qualification. Our specialized resources feature: a purpose-built £12.5 million coastal research vessel, the distinctive Centre for Sustainable Aquatic Research, high-performance computing with advanced graphics workstations, customized behavior and ecology labs, plus specialized molecular ecology and endocrinology facilities. The initial term includes two mandatory modules covering essential scientific skills, research methodology, and scientific critique, plus one elective module selected from the College of Science offerings. The subsequent terms focus entirely on your research project.
