The BA Korean combined honours program equips students with advanced skills in written and spoken Korean, while offering exposure to both traditional and modern aspects of Korean culture - ranging from classical literature and historical studies to modern Korean film and television.
This Korean studies course accommodates complete beginners as well as learners with prior Korean language experience. The third academic year involves immersion in Korea to enhance linguistic abilities and cultural awareness, including insights into local business customs. The combined honours structure enables students to tailor their academic journey by pairing Korean studies with another discipline. Every participant will complete their third year at either Korea University or Sogang University in South Korea.
