This program blends Ancient History (75% of coursework) with Philosophy (25%), allowing you to explore Greek and Roman history during the Classical era while engaging with both ancient and modern philosophical thought. Philosophy's origins in antiquity make it a perfect complement to classical studies.
You'll learn from globally renowned scholars as you examine Greek and Roman history from 600 BCE to 700 CE. Throughout three years, you'll investigate the political systems, pivotal events, and cultural developments that shaped ancient societies and continue influencing modern culture. The curriculum covers major themes like the rise and collapse of democratic systems and the expansion and dissolution of empires.
As an Ancient History student, you'll join our Classics Department, known for its research-driven teaching and personalized approach to student development, ensuring an exceptional academic journey.
