The School's extensive research capabilities provide diverse opportunities for individuals pursuing doctoral studies in human or physical geography. Doctoral candidates receive dedicated guidance from our academic faculty members. We accept applications for both full-time and part-time study options. The School participates in several prestigious programs including the London Social Science ESRC Doctoral Training Centre (a collaboration between QMUL and Goldsmiths), the London NERC Doctoral Training Partnership, and the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral Programme focusing on 'Science for Management of Rivers and their Tidal Systems', along with frequent AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Awards.
