The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry ranked among the top seven UK institutions across all Units of Assessment – including Clinical Medicine, Public Health, Health Services and Primary Care, as well as Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy – in the 2014 REF. The Blizard Institute serves as the largest research center within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, committed to achieving excellence in research, education, and clinical care. Currently, approximately 140 PhD students from 23 nations pursue their studies at the Blizard Institute. Located on the Whitechapel campus, the Institute operates in close collaboration with The Royal London Hospital and the Dental Hospital.
