Our integrated BSc program in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Materials offers medical or dental students the opportunity to earn an additional specialized degree in just one year. Engineering advancements are playing a growing role in modern medicine, including cutting-edge imaging, robotic-assisted surgery, tissue engineering, medical implants, and monitoring systems. Through this program, you'll explore the dynamic field of engineering and material technologies in healthcare settings. The curriculum covers biomechanics, biomaterials, medical computational techniques, tissue regeneration, medical imaging, and rehabilitation technologies.
You'll also conduct original research with top teams at the Institute of Bioengineering, gaining specialized knowledge while developing practical and transferable skills. This research component represents half of your final grade and could lead to opportunities like conference presentations or publications.
