This course allows you to analyze how educational policies and teaching strategies affect students with diverse learning requirements. You'll investigate contemporary inclusion theories and research findings, evaluate relevant data, and critically assess policies. Key focus areas include:
emotional growth & attachment theory
social, emotional, and psychological support needs
communication and language development
students with multifaceted learning profiles
You'll cultivate expert knowledge of research-backed strategies for supporting learners with additional needs, including when and how to implement them effectively. Gain fresh perspectives on your professional approach or institutional culture, and develop the confidence to establish educational settings where every child feels valued, included, and achieves success.
Upon completion, you'll be equipped to drive meaningful improvements - whether in your personal teaching practice, throughout your institution, or via academic research.
Full-time duration: 1 year.
