Research through design
This two-year full-time or three-year part-time program consists of eight units across Design Studio, Research, and Professional Studies.
Studio offerings include practitioner-led masterclasses and active research projects in coastal architecture, contemporary conservation approaches, and modern vernacular design for provincial and rural contexts.
You'll address real-world challenges while exploring innovative futures through experimental, inquiry-driven projects.
Our faculty combines industry experience with academic research, creating a collaborative environment where students and professionals develop new design methodologies.
Instruction takes place in specialized postgraduate studios featuring computer workstations, model-making tools, large-format printing, and 3D printing capabilities.
You'll benefit from shared resources at our arts university, including workshops for materials like plastic, metal, wood, and concrete, plus cross-disciplinary support from fields like Game Design, Fine Arts, Fashion, and Interior Design.
