Pursuing a degree in History and American Studies provides insight into the forces that have influenced and transformed our contemporary world. This globally-focused program offers specialized knowledge of US history, politics, culture, and society. The two disciplines in this Joint Honors program synergize effectively. The History curriculum spans diverse periods and regions, from medieval Spain and Tudor England to 18th-century Asia, modern Europe, and present-day America. The American Studies component enhances your historical understanding through interdisciplinary approaches, examining the US experience via film, literature, music, and political science. From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, T Level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate.
GCSE Requirements:

Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent.
International applicants should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component .
