The BSc (Hons) Zoology program takes a multidisciplinary approach to animal science studies. You'll explore diverse subjects, investigating animal molecular biology, genetics, and physiology while understanding how these elements influence evolutionary processes and behavioral patterns, with systems biology integrating these disciplines.

Whether your interests lie in evolutionary biology and animal behavior, ecological movement physiology, population genetics, or tropical wildlife biology, your education will emphasize hands-on learning. You'll acquire comprehensive field, lab, and analytical techniques that are essential for zoological research and highly beneficial for professional advancement.

While we boast state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, we recognize the irreplaceable value of fieldwork – which is why you might participate in research projects and field courses across European and African locations.

This zoology program additionally offers the chance to extend your studies by a year, either through international exchange programs with partner institutions or through professional placements with organizations, governmental bodies, or nonprofit entities.
