The Marine Biology component of this Marine Biology and Zoology BSc program examines marine organisms including animals, seaweeds, plants, and microbes, along with their ecological relationships. The Zoology portion studies all animal species across terrestrial and aquatic environments. This comprehensive program provides broad insights into Earth's diverse animal life and ecosystems, from mountain ranges to coral reefs and deep ocean trenches. Throughout your studies, you'll explore how ecological interactions - whether involving elephants or sharks - apply universally across marine, land-based, and freshwater environments. The curriculum covers core biological principles, ecological systems, and evolutionary processes affecting marine life and all animal classifications. Practical applications include studies in aquaculture, fisheries science, parasitology, and immunology.
