The Biological Sciences (Zoology) program immerses you in both theoretical and practical studies of animal biology and biodiversity, covering areas like animal behavior, developmental biology, ecological systems, evolutionary processes, and physiological functions. You'll develop a thorough, contemporary understanding of zoological methodologies and gain hands-on experience with techniques used to address critical questions in neurobiology, behavioral studies, ecological systems, and evolutionary biology. Your laboratory sessions and classroom learning will be complemented by field studies, including international field courses. This program mirrors the initial three years of the MBiolSci in Biological Sciences (Zoology). The broader Biological Science curriculum examines fundamental biological and molecular principles across diverse life forms, from microorganisms and fungi to humans and plants. With all 14 programs sharing a foundational first year, you have the flexibility to switch to another degree by the conclusion of Year 1.
