It holds official language status in Canada, Belgium, and Switzerland, while also being widely spoken throughout Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia in North Africa. Additionally, French stands as one of the six official United Nations languages. Our program immerses students in practical language use within our diverse academic community, which includes faculty from various nations, domestic and international students, and language assistants.
This program includes specialized courses focused on your selected modern language. Incorporating a language into your studies enhances your communication abilities, builds linguistic competence, and broadens cultural understanding. Options include Spanish, Modern Standard Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese.
