Founded in 1959, our Ergonomics and Human Factors program cultivates expertise in diverse industries by exploring optimal alignment between individuals, their activities, the tools they employ, and their surrounding environments.
You'll implement foundational theories, analytical approaches, and empirical data to enhance designs for human wellness and operational efficiency. The curriculum offers specialized tracks including: inclusive design human factors, transportation human factors, patient safety ergonomics, or healthcare and community ergonomics.
Learn from globally recognized scholars, professional practitioners, and field specialists who deliver training meeting rigorous industry standards. The program has featured guest lectures by professionals from Humanscale, EDF Energy, Rolls Royce, and AMEC, alongside safety experts, healthcare providers, and visiting faculty from peer institutions.
Beyond the complete MSc pathway (8 courses plus thesis), we offer Postgraduate Diploma (8 courses) and Certificate (4 courses) options, all available with flexible full-time or part-time enrollment.
