This program emphasizes risk/safety system design and operation, along with communication and control systems (including signaling). Organizations prioritize effective operational control and preventing casualties and economic losses from rail accidents.

A 2:1 Honours degree in a relevant subject (eg, Engineering, Physics, Economics or Mathematics).
