The BSc (Hons) Physics with Astronomy program is delivered through a collaboration between Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Liverpool, featuring instruction from globally renowned academics. As a student, you'll gain exclusive access to LJMU's Liverpool Telescope, ranked among the planet's most advanced robotic telescopes.
Your education will be guided by internationally recognized scholars while utilizing specialized resources at both institutions, including a dedicated astrophysics teaching lab. The program also provides opportunities to work with multiple observatories, allowing you to refine your astronomical measurement techniques and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge detection equipment.
During your second year, you can choose between a week-long stay at Tenerife's Izana Observatory or complete a research project at the Astrophysics Research Institute.
