The Law School invites applications for PhD programs covering all areas of law and legal studies. For those seeking shorter study periods, we provide a two-year MPhil research program option.

Research students receive guidance from one or more faculty members, with regular meetings to discuss their work (including remote supervision via video-conferencing for international or non-local students). Supervisors offer support for conference preparation, academic publishing, and career advice, alongside mandatory research training programs.

Join our dynamic academic community where you'll have access to guest lectures, departmental seminars, and student-organized workshops for presenting ongoing research.

Strong applications typically feature well-developed research proposals aligned with our faculty expertise. Detailed entry requirements and specific research areas can be found below - we encourage reviewing our staff profiles for precise academic specializations.
