You'll explore cinematic evolution and assess film's role in culture. Our comprehensive curriculum covers both Hollywood and international cinema, as well as the relationship between film and graphic storytelling.

Simultaneously, you'll hone practical abilities through our production modules, working on narrative films or documentary projects. Participate in our student-run Cut/To film journal, featuring video analyses and exclusive interviews. We offer industry-standard production tools for creating original content, including cinema-grade digital cameras with prime lenses, DSLRs, professional lighting setups, grip gear, and Adobe Creative Cloud software in our soundproof editing suites.

Our collaboration with the British Film Institute provides access to exclusive masterclasses and their extensive film archive. We occasionally arrange visits to media hubs like Salford's Media City.
