Midwives provide essential support and guidance to expectant mothers, birthing individuals, and their families during pregnancy and the journey into parenthood. This vital profession demands scientific expertise, hands-on abilities, strong communication, and compassion - all of which you'll develop through this program. The course leads to both an academic degree and professional midwifery certification, preparing graduates to join the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and practice as licensed midwives.

Practical training opportunities exist in both hospital maternity wards and community healthcare settings.

Beyond access to the cutting-edge Simulated Learning and Clinical Skills facility, midwifery students benefit from a specialized Midwifery Skills area. This adaptable training space can transform to replicate home or hospital environments, allowing students to build competence across diverse clinical scenarios.
