Throughout this program, you'll develop a strong foundation in midwifery theory. Our curriculum emphasizes normal childbirth, health promotion, and pregnancy safety to achieve optimal results for both parents and infants.
You'll be taught by skilled midwives through a combination of classroom instruction, simulated clinical training, and hands-on practice during various placements. Your communication and people skills will grow through both campus learning and clinical rotations. These practical experiences occur at different points in the program across diverse environments such as birthing centers, midwife-led facilities, delivery rooms, prenatal/postnatal departments, and community healthcare settings.
