Studies carried out by faculty and students in Health Services and Population Research (HSPR) seek to:

enhance availability and reach of proven mental health interventions
elevate service quality while optimizing patient results
examine how societal and cultural factors influence mental healthcare delivery
combat prejudice and stigma while advancing recovery and patient rights
create and validate approaches to refine mental health treatment design, assessment, and implementation
Researchers employ diverse methods in their epidemiological and health services investigations, including clinical trials, longitudinal studies, surveys, health data analysis, and qualitative research.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 2:1 honours.
A 2:2 degree may be considered only where applicants also offer a Master's degree with Merit or above.
Some applicants may be interviewed to ensure that that their background and experience, general education and scholarship are appropriate.

IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill.
TOEFL iBT - 92 overall with a minimum of 23 in writing and 20 in each of the other skills.
Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 62 overall with a minimum of 59 in each communicative skill.
