This Master's program in Contemporary Literature, Culture, and Theory encourages students to examine diverse subjects and works from 1945 onward through two compulsory and two elective courses. The initial core course delves into the relationship between literature, culture, and theory by analyzing shifting aesthetic and political perspectives on representation across each post-war decade. The second core module concentrates on literary developments and emerging theoretical frameworks post-1999. Complementing these, students undertake a year-long research and writing skills module to prepare for their final dissertation.
