This Master's program in Contemporary Literature, Culture, and Theory encourages students to examine diverse subjects and works from 1945 onward through two compulsory and two elective courses. The initial core course delves into the relationship between literature, culture, and theory by analyzing shifting aesthetic and political perspectives on representation across each post-war decade. The second core module concentrates on literary developments and emerging theoretical frameworks post-1999. Complementing these, students undertake a year-long research and writing skills module to prepare for their final dissertation. Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 2:1 honours in English, or a related discipline. In order to meet the academic entry requirements for this programme you should have a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree with a final mark of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme. If you are still studying you should be achieving an average of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme. Students can demonstrate their English Language Proficiency with the following tests and grades: IELTS (Academic): 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in reading & writing and 6.0 in listening & speaking; TOEFL iBT: 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing, 23 in reading and 20 in each of the other skills.
