Our Philosophy BA program enables you to cultivate diverse viewpoints on contemporary issues. King's provides an exceptionally broad selection of Philosophy courses spanning from pre-Socratic thought to modern times, with no historical gaps. Unique among UK institutions, we offer specialized modules in Indian Philosophy and Medieval Philosophy. Based in central London, our Department excels in philosophy of mind, science, political philosophy, and ancient philosophy.
Students can opt to switch to the four-year Philosophy with a Year Abroad BA program. Those who choose this path will spend their third year at an international institution before returning to King's for their final year of study.

Standard requirements
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total.
Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits overall: 36 credits must be from units awarded at Distinction, with 9 at Merit.
The Access to Higher Education Diploma should be in a relevant subject - Humanities or similar - to be considered.
IELTS (Academic) - 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill.
TOEFL iBT - 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23 in each of the other skills.
Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 69 overall with a minimum of 62 in each communicative skill.
