Physician Associates are healthcare professionals trained to work in medical teams under a senior doctor's guidance. This program equips you with the necessary skills and knowledge to join a clinical team providing top-quality patient care. You'll benefit from a unique blend of clinical placements and cutting-edge instruction from PAs, physicians, advanced nurse practitioners, scientists, and researchers. Physician Associates (PAs) are medical practitioners qualified to provide treatment in both hospital and community settings. Operating under a senior doctor's supervision, PAs collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to diagnose, treat, and manage diverse patient cases while adhering to their professional boundaries. After qualification, PAs can choose to specialize in specific medical areas. Keele's PA program features instruction from a varied faculty including practicing PAs, clinicians, scientists, and researchers to optimize student learning. Our program maintains strong ties with the North Staffordshire PA Internship Program and plays an active role in advancing PA education nationwide.
