Through this dual-degree program, participants will investigate fundamental educational components like policy development and instructional methods. The course facilitates active engagement with diverse educational influences - psychological, social, and cultural - while projecting future trends. Students will critically assess teaching methodologies across various educational stages and evaluate contemporary assessment techniques, accounting for developmental factors, support systems, and technological integration in learning environments.
The program cultivates deep understanding of educational systems, including teacher-student interactions and professional collaboration models. Philosophical studies involve analyzing classical texts, developing original theories, and examining core areas like ethics, logic, and metaphysics. Students will engage with multiple philosophical traditions spanning Eastern and Western thought, honing analytical reasoning and argumentation skills while learning to identify logical fallacies.
Keele offers numerous enrichment opportunities including international study programs, language acquisition, and practical work experience. The optional foundation year serves as an academic bridge, strengthening preparedness for undergraduate studies. Students may also elect a professional placement year between their second and third years, gaining valuable workplace experience to develop communication, collaboration, and management competencies.
A LEVEL BBC in three A levels; ACCESS TO HE DIPLOMA 112 UCAS points in any Access to HE Diploma including Distinction in at least 15 Level 3 credits; INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA 554 in three Higher Levels or 29 points; BTEC Extended Diploma / National Extended Diploma: DMM in any BTEC Extended Diploma / National Extended Diploma. IELTS - 6.0 with 5.5 in all components TOEFL ibt - 79 with 17 (writing), 17 (listening), 18 (reading) and 20 (speaking)
