The Interaction Design program at The Glasgow School of Art investigates digital technology as an artistic medium, encompassing computers, cameras, sensors, lighting systems, motors, projectors, and networks. Rather than viewing technology merely as a production tool, we treat it as a creative medium. Through programming for artistic expression, students gain skills to create compelling interactive digital works across various platforms. This approach combines technical proficiency with creative vision, encouraging thoughtful interpretation. The curriculum fosters experimentation, empowering students to develop unique solutions within our supportive art school community.
