The curriculum includes microscopic examination of diverse gem materials, encompassing natural specimens, synthetic alternatives, and imitation products. Additional learning opportunities include developing photography skills relevant to the field.
Instruction takes place in our modern, custom-designed facilities at the Assay Office, conveniently located near the School of Jewellery in Birmingham's historic manufacturing district.
