We provide three distinct 'pure' research programs: MA, MLitt, and PhD, along with two 'hybrid' options that combine research with coursework—the DThM (Doctor of Theology and Ministry) and the Integrated PhD. Our 'pure' research degrees focus entirely on independent investigation. From day one, you'll work autonomously under expert supervision to develop your thesis. A dedicated supervisory team will offer guidance, with progress evaluated through periodic formal assessments. Completion requires submitting your thesis and defending it in a viva voce exam (except for the MA by Research, which doesn't require a viva).

Qualification Requirements
For entry at MA level or for the Integrated PhD, you will normally be required to have a good honours degree (such as a First or a good 2:1/GPA 3.7 on a scale of 4.0) from a recognised institution, in Theology, Religious Studies or another relevant discipline. In addition to the bachelor degree requirement stated above, for entry at MLitt or PhD level you will normally be required to have a good MA degree (i.e. average above 65% or equivalent) in Theology or Religious Studies or another relevant discipline. Ielts - 7.0 with no component under 7.0, TOEFL iBT - 102 (with 27 writing and no other component under 25)
