We encourage applications from candidates pursuing PhD/MPhil research across diverse fields, with special emphasis on: Buddhist texts and traditions in India and the West, Modern Christian Theology, Islamic practices in Western societies, Early Christian writings and historical contexts, Hindu traditions through different historical periods, Evolution of biblical interpretation, Buddhist historical development, Muslim communities in Britain, Methodologies in religious studies, South Asian storytelling traditions, Applied pastoral theology, Early Church studies and late antique period, Sikh traditions during the 18th-19th centuries, and the Social aspects of religion.

Qualification Requirements

Suitable for graduates in a wide variety of Humanities disciplines and Social Sciences. A first or upper-second class UK Honours degree or equivalent is required.

TOEFL (iBT) - At least 90 with minimum scores of 17 for writing, 17 for listening, 18 for reading and 20 for speaking
