The Centre for Particle Theory is a collaborative research unit jointly operated by the Mathematics and Physics Departments. As the nation's largest group of its kind, it boasts over 80 members engaged in diverse research areas across the field. Alongside 26 permanent academic staff, the center includes approximately 12 postdoctoral researchers and 50 graduate students. Both departments admit students for either the research-focused Ph.D. program or the coursework-based M.Sc degree (managed by the Mathematical Sciences Department). Housed in modern buildings located roughly 200 meters apart, the departments offer outstanding resources. Every student receives personalized guidance from an assigned faculty member who oversees their research work.
