The BA Anthropology program provides comprehensive training in both theoretical and applied aspects of social anthropology, while incorporating broader disciplinary approaches such as biological anthropology and health-related interdisciplinary viewpoints.
During your initial year, you'll establish a solid foundation in anthropological principles, covering essential elements of social and biological anthropology along with health-focused interdisciplinary studies.
The second year enhances your understanding of social anthropology while offering practical research opportunities through various local fieldwork exercises and activities.
Your final year focuses on creating and executing an independent dissertation project, complemented by participation in our Field Course Module - either as an immersive week-long European experience or through our Virtual Field Course option.
Throughout the program, you'll transition from knowledge absorption to knowledge creation, preparing you for advanced study or professional careers. The degree offers flexibility to include a placement year or study abroad opportunity, extending the program duration to four years when selected.
