Recognized by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), this program positions you at the cutting edge of specialized electrical and electronic engineering fields while equipping you with industry-relevant expertise. You'll explore various specialized subjects such as Electronic Circuits and Systems, Embedded Application Design and Interfacing, and Electrical Transmission and Distribution.
Whether you choose the three-year BEng (Hons) degree or the four-year integrated MEng, our knowledgeable faculty will deepen your grasp of electrical and electronic engineering fundamentals while enhancing your design, research, and project management capabilities.
Our purpose-built facilities feature multiple specialized zones, each equipped with experimental apparatus including: general electronics workstations, digital electronics and microprocessor labs with advanced measurement tools, power electronics setups, control systems, communications engineering stations, and Smart Grid technology.

Normally 112 UCAS points (for both BEng and MEng) from at least two A-levels or equivalent, including one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Physics at grade C or

English and Mathematics GCSE required as a separate qualification as equivalency is not accepted within the Access qualification. We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course
