For those passionate about cinema who wish to pair it with another academic focus through a thoughtfully structured dual-degree option, the Joint Honors pathway offers an ideal solution.
Film Studies coursework will explore global cinema history, modern Hollywood, film and television genres, Disney productions, current British films, and cult classics. As a Joint Honors student, you may opt to write your thesis in either Film Studies or your secondary field.
Instruction comes from specialists affiliated with our renowned Cinema and Television History Research Institute, including published scholars, film critics, directors, and industry veterans. The curriculum blends lectures, movie screenings, seminar discussions, collaborative projects, one-on-one mentoring, and independent research.
