This research explores the connection between religion and education across various settings including universities, schools, religious institutions, and adult learning programs. It has contributed to policy development, guidance creation, and training programs for religious and belief-based organizations. Within the UK, its impact extends to the Department for Education, Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government, the Church of England (CofE), and the British Board of Imams and Scholars. Globally, its influence reaches the Anglican diocese of Melbourne in Australia, New Zealand/Aotearoa's Religious Diversity Centre (RDC) training initiative, and faith leaders throughout Canada.
The study focuses on three distinct research areas outlined below. It encompasses two Coventry-led projects partnered with UK universities (Durham, Leicester, Canterbury Christ Church), one with a public sector organization (Advance HE), and five collaborations with nonprofit groups (RDC, CofE, The Linking Network, CoramBAAF, and Restored).
