Behavioral Science/Medicine is an interdisciplinary domain that focuses on combining knowledge and methods from behavioral, psychosocial, and biomedical sciences to better comprehend health and disease. This field applies such insights to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. (Society of Behavioral Medicine).
As a theme, our goal is to pioneer and collaboratively design cutting-edge, holistic, and patient-focused solutions that meet worldwide health challenges, grounded in the biopsychosocial-spiritual health framework (Hatala 2013). Additionally, we aim to evaluate these approaches in real-world settings—spanning clinical practice, public health, and communities—to enhance their practicality, adoption, and efficacy. Whether delivered in-person, digitally, or through hybrid models, we strive to optimize their reach and influence by adhering to the highest standards of health and social care research excellence.
