Our Medical Genetics program provides comprehensive knowledge about these fundamental components of life. Students gain access to the Medical School's cutting-edge research infrastructure, featuring DNA and protein analysis tools along with computerized imaging systems for molecular and cellular investigations. This program serves as a Pathway to Medicine. If you fulfill the basic Graduate Entry Medicine criteria and successfully complete this Pathway, you'll secure an interview for our prestigious Medicine (Graduate Entry) MBBCh program.
The Medical Genetics program offers both 3-year BSc and 4-year MSci options.
The 3-year BSc combines required and elective courses, allowing customization based on your interests, career goals, or further education plans. The 4-year MSci provides advanced undergraduate training with additional laboratory skill development and a research-intensive year, delivering master's-level credentials at undergraduate tuition rates - perfect for research-oriented careers.
