You'll explore a specialized field within speech, language, and communication science. Collaborating with your supervisor in our dedicated research center, your work will encompass various elements of this discipline. This degree program requires original research, allowing you to contribute novel findings to the foundation of language and communication science. With close supervision, you'll gain from academic guidance covering all areas of speech, language, and communication disorders. Our expertise extends to typical speech and language development, social and clinical linguistics, hearing impairment, swallowing disorders, and developmental conditions. Your studies will take place at the Centre for Language and Communication Science Research, which features an on-campus speech therapy clinic and partnerships with academic and clinical institutions both nationally and globally.Full-time: 2 – 4 yearsPart-time: 3 – 7 yearsPhD by prior publication: 1 – 2 years
