Our research is organized into five interconnected themes: biological chemistry, catalysis and surface science, materials and energy, molecular synthesis, and spectroscopy with dynamics. The School of Chemistry conducts a wide range of studies spanning both theoretical and practical applications. Research opportunities align with faculty specialties, covering Biological & Organic, Inorganic, Physical, and Theoretical & Computational chemistry areas. We equip students with skills for careers in pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, education, biomedical research, and leadership roles across manufacturing industries (including food, cosmetics, and petrochemical sectors).
