Earning a PhD requires conducting approved research on a specific topic and defending your written dissertation during an oral examination. Your research must provide an innovative addition to current knowledge or demonstrate a novel application of existing understanding. The dissertation, limited to 80,000 words, should exhibit thorough expertise and analytical engagement with the field.
BNU encourages research degree applications in diverse academic areas such as: Nursing, health and wellness, Creative arts, design, performance and environmental studies, Business administration, Management, Aviation and Security, and Higher Education studies.
We provide two research degree options: the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). While both programs are completed at BNU, Staffordshire University confers the degrees. As a research candidate, you'll be registered with Staffordshire University while also being enrolled at BNU, which oversees your academic guidance and student support.
