Key areas include: Urban geography - leveraging our London setting and European fieldwork to analyze city dynamics and transformation; Postcolonial studies - investigating geography's dual role in both supporting and challenging colonial legacies; Environmental crises - blending human and physical geography to understand Anthropocene changes and potential solutions. Fieldwork forms a core component, with local explorations and fully-funded residential trips in years one and two that enhance learning and skill development.
