The Department of Psychosocial Studies unites academics with diverse backgrounds spanning multiple disciplines, including anthropology, sociology, gender and sexuality studies, cultural and postcolonial research, education studies, critical psychology, psychoanalysis, and psychotherapy. With a strong interdisciplinary approach, we provide supervision across various fields such as violence studies (including state violence and warfare), relationships (covering intimacy, parenting, care, friendship and love), racial studies and diaspora, human rights and social movements, education and learning processes, embodiment research, community studies, and gender/sexuality research.
