The Iberian and Latin American studies program offers a dynamic and forward-thinking research environment. Faculty expertise spans diverse areas—from Golden Age art to Luso-Brazilian imperial history, from colonial Spanish American literature to modern Iberian cinema and urban studies, as well as Latin American poetry, film, and museum scholarship. Both faculty and student research consistently pushes academic boundaries.
